3-4 Piping Bags of Royal Icing

And A little bling!

Instructions:

  1. Gently knead the bags of icing before opening.
  2. To open bags, cut a very small triangle off the tip with sharp scissors. Royal icing is liquid when applied so be sure not to snip too much! I’m talking small! You can always cut more if needed.
  3. Outline your cookies or the portion of your cookie you want to ice first. Let the outline rest for 1-2 minutes before “flooding” to prevent overflow.
  4. Have fun and play around!
  5. For some outstanding instruction, I recommend Julia Usher’s Royal Icing Video. That is where I got my start and she is the bomb diggity when it comes to giving very comprehensive instructions.
